Dipika Raghuraman, DO

First-year Resident

Inspired by her pediatrician, Dipika Raghuraman, DO, wanted to become that same kind of doctor. A physician who is a source of information and comfort to patients. Someone who calms worried parents and empowers them to make decisions based on the person's health and well-being. Dr. Raghuraman attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with a minor in Biology, as part of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core Honors College. She attended the University of Northern Colorado and received her master's degree in Biomedical Sciences. She obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The range of patients and variety of diseases is why Dr. Raghuraman chose Family Medicine as her specialty. She loves being able to care for babies, pregnant patients, adults, and the elderly, all on the same day. Family Medicine allows her to build trust and rapport with patients over the years. During her fourth-year clerkship at Lincoln Family Medicine Center, she experienced the way faculty would mentor and prioritize the residents' education, and they would encourage residents to grow in their clinical decision-making skills and practice style. She was very impressed at how candidly the faculty and residents interacted.

Dr. Raghuraman was born in Chennai, India, and grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She enjoys exploring art galleries and museums, hanging out in cafes while relaxing with a good book, crocheting, and catching up on podcasts and audiobooks.
